  1. Just in case any others have knowledge in this area (and this great thread). I've dropped a small sheet of scrunched oily blue rag into the void of valve / cam cover when replacing spark plug tubes (in the near side rear most plug (UK)). Bugger. A comment earlier in this thread quoted a mechanic saying don't worry if bits of broken tube dropped in. Default is open cover, remove rag & reseal?
