  1. I am working a car that has two VIN #s. The car is a '82 911 "SC cabriolet". the VIN # on the sticker on the driver's door jamb and the stamped "A" pillar is: WPOEA091XCS161401 The VIN# stamped in the body under the hood is: WPOZZZ91ZCS161401 This car also has what appears to be factory "L Jet" electronic fuel injection. Something seems to be very fishy with this setup. Is there some other place that the VIN # is stamped? It looks like to me that some passed this car off as a euro car that was brought to the US and the US VIN#s were added. As far as I can tell "L Jet " was not on cars before '84 and cabriolets in '83. Could this be a stolen car? Any ideas? Thanks, Joe.
