  1. 01 turbo i just spoke with dealer. they say its a common thing, and said to bring it by and theyll check it real quick. lets hope its free or cheap. thanks gain for the help on more than one ocassion loren.
  2. my engine oil level was very low, and than i started it, and it said oil level senor failure on the dash. does this mean the oil is really low, or is the sensor toast? i would like to replace it myself if at all possible. thanks.
  3. hi all. sadly i come hear to ask for help on this situation. battery died and i was in an emergency, so a little shop popped a new one in backwards. when it was connected i noticed smoke from the alternator area and yelled at em. i managed to get home with the car running at 12v, rather than the standard 13.8 to 14v i normally see. i would like to know what to do, and if its anything simple like a fuse rather than a dealer stop. the smoke came from the alternator area, and since it started with no dash lights, except a bad battery than i assume everything else is ok. any input appreciated.
  4. Hi Loren. Thanks for the reply. My concern was why it would be leaking out the reservoir at all. I have to add to my diagnosis, that i hear a creak from the rear, which i presume to be the slave cylinder creaking. If the only reason why the clutch reservoir up front should be leaking is because it was overfilled, than it must be. The only person who has touched the car were factory dealers. Please let me know, but im just going to take the cap off again, and clean up the whole area, and re-cap. Hopefully all is well.
  5. I have been having this leak for the past 3 months or so. Originally, when it leaked, it leaked what seemed to be mostly above the reservoir, onto the plastics. I had wiped it all up clean, and the reservoir seemed topped up, so i made sure it was just under the full mark. Since than, i checked it again, and all the plastics are wet again with clutch fluid. It looks like its coming out the cap almost, but i could be mistaken. It still looks to be arund the full mark. I also notice that the vacuum assist is hard in the morning after it sat overnight. It gets assited soonafter startup though, and has always been like this from what i remember. What could this problem be? Is it something serious, and how can it be fixed? Thanks!..
