LOL, Thanks a lot for your reply BillC. I love that detail a lot and will contact them - any way to avoid Stan??? I meant the comment about Stan as a joke. He's a good guy, and very knowledgeable. He just likes to talk about the cars and what they are doing.

That's not a carbon fiber strip, it's actually the outlet from the center radiator. Mantis Racing is planning to add one of those to its racing Cayman, by cutting into the stock bumper cover. You could call them for more info: http://www.mantissport.ca/ -- ask for Stan, but be warned that he'll talk your ear off if you let him. :D

Howdy, Just wanted to let folks know that Porschelibrarian (a member of this board) is an excellent source for the Workshop manuals (and TSBs and wiring diagrams) for Porsches at a reasonable cost, including the Cayman (987C). I just got my set (had to wait a bit for the wiring diagrams, since he didn't receive them until last week), and, for the most part, they are great -- there's some duplication where the Boxster and Cayman manuals were combined, but that's better than something missing. :D If interested, just send him a PM. No affiliation, beyond being a satisfied customer.
