  1. http://www.astoundingimages.com/forum-photos/91101.jpg What wheels are these?
  2. I just had a recommended mechanic do a pre purchase inspection on a 2001 996 TT tip with 41,000 miles, and he came back with some concerns and wanted to get some feedback. 1. ABS code 5525 control unit code? - they reset it but didnt have an idea what had caused it to trip 2. Transmission/Differential is leaking from front area of transaxle. leak will drip when fluid is warm/ Trans is fully wet around the area (the dealer says this is normal for any porsche to leak some?) 3. Engine Noise - from the counter shaft area at rear of engine, Cold is noticeable at idle - warm is noticeable at idle and above idle. (Dealer also says this is normal for TT and I have read that this might be the case - but my mechanic said the noise is excessive, but I dont notice it unless I really try to hear it. What is the verdict - who is right? :censored:
