  1. After much hand wringing, I am buying both. My 997TT is a May Build, and I am No.3 of 4 on the wait list for a GT3 (I am hoping the allocation will come in August or September and it will be a Dec. 07 build, 2008 model). It just gets more expensive when you can't make decisions. My view is that these are very different cars. I can't really compare the two side by side. My recommendation is that you just need to try to decide what is most important, high revs in a true race car "with a license plate", or a luxury, super car with AWD that will take on most challengers. I just don't see how both cars can share the same body and chassis. Its amazing.
