  1. Hi, I have a 2004 PSE on the way to me as we speak and I am considering installing it myself, if this proves to be possible. I enjoy doing this kind of stuff, but if it is a very technical task, then I am happy to leave it to the professionals. So where can I look to find some instructions on removing the stock muffler? Can anyone rate this task compared to say a B&M install? Thanks.
  2. I tend to get mid to high teens for normal driving, mid 20s for long distance cruising and single figures for track! :D
  3. I am sure it will work out fine - again many thanks for the sound files. :D I am very keen to maintain my car with Porsche products where possible and to be honest, the resonance of the GHL did bother me a little bit. I don't think a car in this class should have resonance..
  4. OK, A4EP, I've taken a leap of faith (much aided by those great sound files :) ) and ordered one! I just need to know one thing please and I'm sure this is a daft question. But, if its not wired up (as yours is), then there is no need for your hack is there? What I mean is that the valves will be permanently in the open/loud position - is that correct? Thanks!
  5. That sounds awesome.. I have to ask, have you ever heard the GHL (I think you mentioned that you had) and what did you think of that? Also, any resonance at any range? Thanks for the sounds clips! :D
  6. Do either of you ever experiencing any rubbing (even if its in an unusual circunstance) or is there plenty of clearance still?
  7. Hi, I'm currently researching this myself. This was also one of my questions. However, I believe (and I am no expert on this) that spacers are not necessary, but instead I think you should consider replacing your shocks with Bilstein Sports to match the shorter springs. I was considering Eibachs plus Bilsteins by the way, but I think that H & Rs are more or less the same. I may be wrong.. I have ruled out ROW 030 as the feedback I have had is that it can produce an odd floating feeling during fast transitions, which the stock suspension doesn't..
  8. Hi, I've bought the Brey-Krause camera mount, which is specifically designed to attach between the Boxster roll-over hoops. However, I'm having some trouble working out how it fits. There doesn't seem to be enough space between the storage box and the padding to fit the attachment to. Has anyone had any experience with one of these? Thanks.
