  1. I'd suspect one of the plugs, even though they're new, they sometimes do fail right away.
  2. I don't personally- What I'm going to tell you is what I've read on ppbb.com for the past 8 months... You MUST put on a good set of snow tires (all four wheels). Once done, the Boxster is fine in snow. It's even better if you have PSM. On the chains, you can't use them if you have 18" tires. Most folks at ppbb.com have a different set of wheels with snow tires mounted on them. A lot of them like the 16" for use with chains because it gives good clearance between the tire and fender.
  3. According to a Porsche reapir shop, been in business doing only Porsche's since 1961: Don't go beyond 5K or so. They've had problems with Boxster's and 996's coming in and they had to clean out the intake system of 'coking'. They said that the cars that changed their oil every 5k or so, don't have the black buildup of the other cars. I change my Boxster every 5K...Mobil 1 15W-50 of course!
  4. Sounds like you need to run a bottle of Techron through it. Go to nearest Chevron station with below half a tank. Put in bottle of Techron, fill up rest of the way with Chevron Premium. Now go drive car! That should do it...
