  1. Your wife has a point but has it reversed. Round dished-out tips have been on Vettes for years. It has been a long time since Vettes had oblong tips, but never teardrop design because they never had the teardrop bumper Porsche holes. My turbo with those "vette-like" round tips fit in with all the vettes at our weekly car show. That did not look good for my turbo. Took them off and went with the new Porsche-updated chrome finish teardrop tips. Now sparkling chrome teardrop tips fit teardrop holes and I got the P-designed rear-end look of a Porsche turbo again. Goodby Vette look. And too, isn't the turbo the only series that have the teardrop exh-look, I guess excluding the GT2 which has round bumper holes for their round tips.
