  1. Hi: Any independent Porsche repair shops in Miami?
  2. Thanks. Already have one. Will do the DIY
  3. Thanks. I called an independendent Porsche repair shop. Thay said it qouls cost arrounf $135.00 and there was a need for a barcode tag. If I recall correctly the kay came without that tag. The y would also charge $70.00 to activate the OBC. Think is a little high. On Manday will call a dealer in Miami. The guy I talked to on Saturday said the they could activate the OBC for $70.00+. Think it would be batter if I wait for the Durametric to have that option. Oout of context, when is suggested to replace the rip belt?
  4. Do you need a barcode to program a valet key?
  5. It has to be the car. I f I post a pic of her that means !DIVORCE!
  6. Between us guys, don't you think these jewels have nice butts?
  7. Getting her some nice Victoria's Secret lingery and telling her I can only get these for you and not the 911, crossed my mind.
  8. Well guys, was detaling my MY99 C2 Carrera and after finishing my wife was standing by me, I was concentrated looking at my beauty and she asked me if there was something wrong and I answred... Don't know which has a nicer butt, you or the 911. How can I win her back?
  9. My mats are the old style, can I use any velcro on the old ones?
  10. Hi: I'm in need of the part inside the red circle. Took the liberty of using the pic from another post. Hope no body gets upset.
  11. Found the cause of the problem. One of the screws that hold the door panel, the one behind the inside handle, was grounding the cable that connects to the micro switch. The micro switch is open (not closing the circuit) when the handle is not being pulled, so by grounding the micro switch cable it was closing the circuit making the car think the door was open, therefore unable to lock. Solution, taped the cbale and re-routed so is far from the screw.
  12. Hi Guys: Just finished painting the hood/trunk levels and the inside dood handle. For that I had to remove the dood pannels. Installed them and now the car won't lock, or I should say, it locks but it unlocks it self after a couple of seconds, does not matter if I lock it manually or with the remote. Anu Ideas, suggestions what it may be? Never turned on the key while the door pannels were off. Also ther is no alarm beep at all. DId noticed the alarm led(red) on top of the dash bliks fast for some seconds.
  13. Neither do I. Guess the seller would have to be contacted. My thing is these are made in China.<_<
  14. Look what I found, woder if it dependable. http://www.tradekey.com/selloffer_view/id/1100235.htm http://www.ucartool.com/PIWIS_PC.asp http://www.tradekey.com/ks-porsche-tester/
  15. Since the Wurth Lacquer Spray Paint, Metallic Silver is hardly available can the metallic silver for rims (wheel) be used to retouch the trunk level, is it the same silver tone, can the clear gloss lacker be used with the rim (wheel) paint?
  16. Shell SUper 93 octanes. Thanks for the peace of mind.
  17. Went to fill my truck at the Shell gas station I always use. Noticed a sign saying the gas, all types, has/is 10% ethanol, it was not like that the last time I went there 5 days ago. My concern is, can the 95 octane gas 10% ethanol can be used in my MY99 911? It made no difference on my GMC MY99 truck.
  18. Hi everyone. Anyone with a PIWIS in the Miami or Fortlauderdale area in Florida?
  19. Hi: Thinking about replacing the stock steering wheel with a sports after market one. These does not have air bags. How could I disable the airbag without getting the airbag warning light? Thanks
  20. Think good options would be: MB Quart, Morel and Focal, on the lower end of the spectrum (money wise) JL Audio or Boston Acoustics. There is a rumor that MB Quart was purchased by another company and the newer models are not as good as the older ones. Just my $0.02.
