  1. I too would keep looking as there are a LOT of 996s out there for sale. If you insist on going forward with this one (or any other) I would strongly suggest an after-market warranty. They are normally 2-3K but if something significant goes wrong that the PPI does NOT find, you are covered minus a small deductible. And no, I have no affiliation with any insurance companies, if fact, I despise the idea of how much money I have paid in insurance over the course of my car owning life.....scary numbers. Anyway, here are a couple: waranties 4 wheels or warranty direct. Good Luck!
  2. I 2nd Izzy's request: more info on the RMR! The V1 has saved me many times but a jammer is even a better idea.
