  1. Thanks for the info! Looks like I'm buying a MAF sensor. Being new to the 911 community, I don't know the best online sources for parts and equipment. Who's the best?
  2. I already cleared the codes once, and have the sensor reconnected now. After a bit of driving, the codes come back, the same 4 as before. I have to say, the hesitation seemed to actually get better after I cleaned the sensor, but I'm still definately getting a loss of power.
  3. Hi everyone, I've had kinda a funky problem surface with my '99 C2. My dealer performed an early 60k service on my car a few thousand miles ago, which corrected a slight hesitation that occured at approx. 6k on full throttle run ups. However, since that time, my car began idling horribly, or better, not at all. I had been ignoring this for lack of time, and finally decided to check into it. After I changing the oil recently (I've done many full engine overhauls myself, so yes, I'm perfectly capable of changing my own oil :) ), I noticed a connector that was loose. Oddly enough, it was the mass airflow sensor that had been disconnected for a good 6-7 thousand miles. Puzzled, I reconnected it, and immediately the idling problem was gone. However, now on full throttle (and only on full throttle) I get significant hesitation from 5.5-6.5k, and I'm definately not getting full power. I discovered the check engine light had burned out, explaining why I wasn't getting a light, and I had 1123, 1125, 1128 and 1130 codes (lean and rich for each bank). I've cleaned my sensor as outlined elsewhere, but my problem remains. I'm wondering if this is definately my mass airflow sensor, or possibly something else. Before reconnecting the sensor, the ONLY problem was the jacked-up idle, other than that I had no issues with power or hesitation. Any ideas?
