  2. so it will have a higher spring rate in the rear then? it should be good in a non tip car i would think the rears are the only different part from the normal row kit
  3. the place (MS Road and Race) selling it claims it is a euro m030 kit..I havwe bought from them before, i know they are reputable, but any chance they are right?> i looked it up in Pet and it does not say USA or ROW...just boxster with tip

  5. is this a usa m030 or row. i know it is m030, boxster s..but which
  6. get a new roller, and just replace it, what happened is the bearing in the one on your car went..that is why it is cocked. darn simple repair. buy a new mounting bolt too so as to make sure it is not left hand thread
  7. if you can, i was gonna be swapping my graphite grey top off my 02 for a black 03 top. so i will have a complete bolt on top for sale (frame, top canvas all ready to go in great shape with a nice rear window)
  8. roof. also got an m030 boxster s front swaynar with busings and links for $50
  9. yup..whole kit and kaboodle... How did you get this deal? Any links available for the rest of us to look / get one? Thanks! car-part.com
  10. i have a line on a complete 03 top, cheap. will it interchange with the 02? straight swap? i will get the complete top from the 03
  11. put the spin locks in your car first... test fit the top before you buy it. make sure you get the rear defrost wire loom. I have a spare if you need one
  12. so i need the panels? i alreafdy got the amp to retro install
  13. I think they might be surface mounted. I've seen them show up on ebay every once in awhile with a whole sort of body attached. If I'me correct, and the other guy here is, you could always swap the speakers out and keep the stock look "body". P.K i think they are mounted to the door , just the covers on the panel. I am leary of cutting holes in good panels so aftermarket is not for me unless it is drop in for the original.
  14. my car did not come with door speakers, I want to add them but there obviously is no cutouts to do it. any one add the stock speakers to a car that had just dash speakers? are there any pattern on the back of the door panbel? better anyone got grey door panels? my car is an 02
  15. so do you just live with it? for me I don't know if I would keep the top. I'm not happy with it and I wouldn't want to really sell it someone unless they can live with it for around town driving in the winter. It's nice as it quites road noise, large trucks ect...but I have to listen to intrusive wind the whole time on my 30 minute journey to work. not a fair trade off. this didn't fix it yet, my adjustments produced the same noise at the corner with only a little reduction. does anyone know if the two receiver pin bolts allow for any up/down motion of lining the top to the windshield. mine is not a wind issue...it leaks water. it is as if the top is not made right. (or bent, which it isn't) I will fiddle with it more tomorrow
  16. i have the same issue with my hardtop..spent hours adjusting and it fits well, but on the driver front corner, the gap is off and it leaks in that spot. I have the dvd, it isn't all that great on the top (it's really just an install on a car that needed no reall adjusting)....great on every thing else...no offense intended here,
  17. ok, i will confirm that it does in fact have the 9701 bit...and it works perfectly. in addition it has the twin prong tip as well that works on vw/audi/porsche but remember to unclick or unlock the pins fron the harness side of the connecter...not the flat face...
