  1. Thanks for the input guys! Im having them balanced tomorrow
  2. My tires are Continental Sportcontact 2s. Car only has 7300 miles-tires look like they have more
  3. I just started to notice that when Im doing ~70mph the steering wheel starts to shudder or shake slightly. The thing that is weird is that its an on/off type of shudder. it shakes for about 3 seconds then goes away for about 7 seconds & then comes back again continuing the cycle. Again this only does this around 70mph. Any ideas? 2002 Boxster, manual, 18 Turbo look wheels. Thanks
  4. I need to replace the main shaft of my transmission on my 02 Boxster(5spd). Things would be a lot easier if I had a schematic or break down of the 5spd transmission. If anyone could send me one I would be much obliged Thanks
  5. Well, I got the changer & hooked it up & I can eject the magazine, but the radio doesnt recognize the changer. Im going to re-check the plugs in the back of the radio-make sure nothings loose. Do I have to have the changer activated on the cdr-220 radio?
  6. Anybody know how much the bolts should be torqued on the driveshafts? This is an 02 2.7l Boxster
  7. Thanks tool pants, you have been very helpful. Please get me the cable part # as well
  8. Ill check the cable one I get the unit. I was looking at buying the parts from porsche, but I was confused on the brackets available. I know there is this bracket from the "how to" sites on changer installs: 996 645 221 00 But I also found this : g993 645 113 00 (rack for cd changer) Do I need both? Also, whats the part# for the cable?-if I need it
  9. I managed to get a hold of a Sony CDX-T62 changer. I thought I read somewhere of some places selling changer install kits that come with the mounting hardware & cable(I dont think the sony cable will work?) Can anybody help? This is going in a 02 Boxster Thanks
  10. On a side note-anybody know where I can get the side airbag emblems? Someone stole the ones in my car.
