I am doing the Evoms Gt2 kit next week , do I need to put the engine and gear box down to do the work or just by lowering it a little?

Loren low cost for the 996TT? I dont care if I have to cut cables .....

I had my ecu remapped, now with the gates (evoms) i was doing 1,1 boost and pulled them 2mm more and instead of seeing higher boost i dropped to 1,0 max boost

Unless i'm missing something here, how is an intercooler going to give your more boost or spool up faster?? They are just what it says on the tin.......... a cooler. So an upgrade only will make the oil cooling more efficient etc, not improve your performance? If you run bigger turbo's you need better intercoolers to keep the oil temp around the turbo's within limits so you 'maintain' optimum performance and dont damage anything. But intercoolers alone wont give you more BHP??

Seems we are alone on this one and neither knows the answer, there are some 997TT new ones on e bay for $200 each

Not here, the dealer here doesnt stock any parts here just filters, very bad service in our country from the PORSCHE REPRESENTATIVE

All I have heard it is the same cores but no sure if the same cores as the GT2 996 and they make some changes probably on the ends, but heard also the hoses and everything on the 996TT will fit, want to know if they are an up grade or maybe just the same stuff

So are they the same and they change refs nos?

Since you are moving on HP you will add more and more, to be safe go to the stage 3 kit, EVOMS, AWE, CLUTCHMASTERS, etc.

Does any one know if the intercoolers on the new 997TT are the same as the 996GT2? Or what are the differences if any?

I have JURID 277 GG on my car and need to replace and cant find them anywhere, can anyone help. They are for 8 piston front Brembo brakes

Will play with the gates as you suggest, I also think that is the thing I have to look at , but my fear is with the new 75mm TB (maybe too much air???...), I think that is what I am missing to have the car perfect the low RMP high boost (in the 1,0 range), as soon as I have that solved I will try to push it up a little more like you have it in the 1,2 range I am sure in that range you must feel a big difference from 1,0. The problem is that I installed the gates and didnt leave enough lenght to pull it more so I have to take them out and leave more rod space for the screws in the setup, I am not paying attention to the mm setup but starting with the gates at zero and then moving little by little up in the setup (I think that is a better way to go, dont you?...)

On my 996TT it shows that wait message with a timer that only moves when the switch is turned on, if you turn the car off the timer doesnt move and doesnt run out
