  1. Have 7 mm FVD spacers. No change in handling at all.
  2. Whats the price for the airbox? Is the airbox compatible to the to a 997 C2 also? Pictures please?
  3. When checking under the care I noticed a oil leakage from the left drivshaft link. It seems to come from the linkage between joint (part 12) and the cover (part 11). Its not big but you see drops hanging there. The underbody plastic was also covered over some oil. Can it be a broken circlip between the the joint or cover or can it be something serious. I am going to have a scheduled service in the middle om may, but I am uncertain if I should drive at before that. I would be very happy if someone can help me here. The reference for the parts are from PET chapter rear axel. I will try to upload some pictures later.
  4. I have bought a set with Techart sport springs to my 997 C2 and wonder if someone has changed their spring by themselves? A buddy of mine who is a mechanic i going to help me, but it would be much easier if some has a step by step instructions to share. Maybe someone has a copy of the workshop manual?
  5. I am talking about the GT3 front bumper not the RS and for 997 it has upper vents. I am wonder have the upper vent system function. I have checked the parts catalog but I can't understand how it works.
  6. I am considering putting on the GT3 front bumper. To make it look (I don't like radiato grills you can install to hide the radiators) and function the best way I would like to install a center radiator. I wonder though how the air leads trough the top vent of the bumper. Is it a tray behind the central radiator or does the air flow go straight through? Pictures or illustration would be most helpfull
  7. How do I rectify the rotors? Why should I need to do that when I put the same pads on the same placement as before the dismantle. Is this a case each time you change or dismantle the brakepads?
  8. After I dismantle the brakepads from the calipers I notice that the pads don't have contact on the whole disc during braking. About a 1cm on the outer edge of the disc don't have contact with the pad. The pads are the same which I dismanteled. I have tested with some heavy braking to "settle" the pads without result. What have done wrong and what should I do?
  9. I have tried the link but comes to the frontpage only. Where can I find it?
  10. I would also like to install a PSE switch. Can someone post a step by step instruction have to do it? If you also have some pictures it would be perfect :)
  11. I think my car has a problem mentioned in TSB 4078 (my rear is wobbling) and my car is still under warranty. Can I go to my dealer, show them the TSB and expect that they fix the problem with no cost? Whats your experience regarding TSB's?
  12. Pull the electrical plug to the solenoid!!! Thanks, I will try to disconnect when I get home.
  13. Can you also send help me Loren. Evertime I lower my window it got all dirty when I raise it again. Someone else who has experienced the same?
  14. Where in the engine bay can you disconnect, to get the PSE sport mode to be enabled all the time?
  15. It's quite straight forward to install a front strut brace in front. No need to change battery or to grind any of the plastic trim. In back its a lot more work to do, especially if you have the Bose system installed. Then you have to cut in some aluminum brackets to get it installed and its very tight on space. Some people says it won't help because the 997 is so stiff originally, but I think it doesn't make it worse either.
