  1. Hi All, I have a 996, 2001 facelift with factory bose and PCM1. I want to swap the nav unit to pcm2, in principle as i have a facelift car it should have mostbus but it has pcm1 so does that mean its not mostbus? Any feedback appreciated Thanks Duncan
  2. Hello, Just wondered if anyone out there had a copy of the boxster screensaver for the 986 model...only the 987 on the porsche site now!!! Thanks Duncan
  3. Hello again, Just wondered if anyone has managed to change the cellphone operator name displayed on the PCM1 system? Thanks Duncan
  4. Hi Thats great news as I am in the process of changing my pcm to 16 bit!!! Can you tell me which Opal CD you brought ie car make and model year....there are loads of different versions on the website you posted? Thanks Duncan
  5. Hello I wondered if anyone out there would have a disc that contains the software needed to run the opal nav disks on a PCM1 16bit nav computer? I am trying to avoid paying the ridiculous stealership prices for the nav disk that i will only use to update my nav software!!!! Any help mch appreciated Duncan
  6. Hi I am cinsidering updating my PCM 1 8 bit to the later 16 bit version, I have read in the archives that this enables use of newer more up to date maps from either Porsche or Opal, however other than this are there any other advantages ie increased functionality/improved/more detailed graphics/maps? Thanks Duncan
