  1. My dealer wanted $2,000.00 to fix the same problem. Said that the cables where streched and the only replacement cables available would only work with the new transmission. I have since obtained the parts and installed them but found that the manual seems to leave something out relative to the setting and timing of the various rods. Did you ever find a good explaination on how to set up the top when new parts are installed? I would love to find out the right way to adjust the top. Thanks Jeff
