Im not sure about the radio model, Ill check. Im not looking to change the radio, just add 2 door speakers and an amp. So my concern is when the battery is disconnected will the stock radio go into secure mode. The car was in storage over the winter and the Battery went dead but the radio did not appear to be effected? Thanks for your help and hopefully it is a cdr-23!

I purchased a 2003 boxster last year that originated in the U.S. My question is do all radios , no matter what the options are , have a security code in place?
