  1. Not hard at all. You just need to remove a few things. First pop off the top front cover of the engine . This allows for you to access and remove the plastic joint for the intake/intake manifold. With that piece removed you now have acces on the automatic belt tensioner which has a bolt on top end of it (See#18 below). With a breaker bar and socket that fits in to that bolt (i can't recall the size), you can relieve tension on the serpentine belt by pressing towards a clockwise direction. Take the belt out and guide the new one in. I hope that helps! Thanks a lot! I'll give it a go - I wasnt sure that the one tensioner would loosen up the works. Appreciate it.
  2. I'm wondering if anyone has instructions on how to change the serpentine belt on a cayenne s? I have 60,000 mi and bought the new belt. Can anyone comment on complexity and time to complete with the tools I need? Any info is appreciated - thanks! I'm sure I can figure it out as I go, but having more info up front always helps.
