Cool! I figured there would be an emergency release, just in case! Thanks for the photos. Do you think I could snag that loop if I remove the passenger side marker? -

My mechanic put my only remote key in the trunk after locking the doors with the remote. I have the valet key, and my manual release trunk lever is locked - to prevent theft I assume. How can I get into the trunk, either using the valet key, or, is there an emergency release cable on pre-2000 MY cars??? Thanks. Andy

Removing E-Brake Handle?

It's not so much the removal o f20 screws, but all the other steps needed to remove and replace the hand brake handle. Pass! Wow, 5 minutes? You must be sick of seeing these consoles by now! -

Is removing the e-brake handle a simple task, or is it an ordeal? I want to change mine for an all leather version, but don't want to have to take the entire center/rear console out to do it. Thanks! Andy
