  1. I need to retrofit the haedlight washers into my 1998 boxster to install Litronic. I already know that there is no TSB for the headlight washers retrofit kit. When I bought the retrofit kit from Porsche therwas a harness in the box. But without a TSB I don't know where to put the wires. So has anyone of you a wiring diagram for the headlight washers. I suppose where to put all the wires, beside one wire that is yellow, it could be the one that gives the relay the information that the headlights are switched on, because the headlight washers only work when the headlight are on. It is so short that it has to be put somewhere in the near of the fuse box. There is also a relay in the box, does someone of you know on which position the headlight washers relay has to be installed in the relay support. Thank you Turro
  2. Hallo is there a way to retrofit the original Porsche Park Assistant? I can buy the parts at ebay, but I don't know how to wire it. Is there a TSB for this. Has anybody done this before and could help me. Thank You
  3. Hallo does anyone of you perhaps have the German pricelist for the 1998 Boxster. I would like to check the price of my car when it was deliverd. Another question I have is: what does code 232 mean, what kind of extra equipment is that. I found all the other codes out, except this one. Thank you Turro
  4. Hallo is there any TSB for changing the Soft Top? I have a small hole in the soft top, and I would like to change it. But I just want to remove and change the soft top material without the inner construction. Is that possible? Thank you Turro
  5. I want to retrofit Litronic headlights. I got the numbers from ebay auctions. There seem to be two different part numbers, and I first thougt that one are BI-Xenon and the others normal Xenon. I would like to know if I can buy two headlights with different part numbers and build them into my car. But when you can not find the numbers, then I don't know where the people selling the headlights get them from.
  6. Hallo I checked the part numbers and I found out that I have made a mistake. The right numbers are: 996.631.057.01 and 996.631.057.02 Do you know about any differences between the number you told me above and these. Both should be Xenon headlights, perhaps the number was changed but technically they are identical. Turro
  7. I have the opportunity to by original Porsche seats, that are fully electrical adjustable, with memory. Is it possible to retrofit those seats in a 98 Boxster. The standard seats have electrical adjustment of the back, so the wires should be there. And the for memory option, i would need those extra switches near the trunk openers, and what more? Has anybody done this before, or is it impossible. Thank you for your help.
  8. I have recieved it. Thank you very much. This is really one of the best forums I have ever seen. The help comes so quick, fantastic !!!
  9. I got the TSB for the inside mirror yesterday, but there was no mail from you with the outside dimming mirror TSB. Thanks Turro
  10. You were right Loren, there are no BI-Xenon headlight for the Boxster. This is an information from my local dealer. The part number must have been replaced, but that is not so important for me, the main thing was about the BI-Xenon.
  11. Thak you for sending me the TSB for the inside mirror. I was able to install it properly. Now i am thinking about installing the outside mirror, but Tool Pants wrote that there is much more to do than just install the wire. Could you send me the TSB for the outside mirror, so that I can see if it is possible for me to do it be myself. Thank you for your help.
  12. There are some differences in the part numbers between cars delivered in Europe and USA. The number above is a European number for a Litronic headlight, but I don't know if it's a BI-Xenon headlight or not. When was the BI-Xenon light introduced in the Boxster?
  13. Can you tell me if this litronic headlight 996.631.058.01 is a normal Xenon light or a BI-Xenon(also high beam Xenon light) Thank you for your help
  14. I have noticed a problem while opening the soft top. The plastic window does not fold itself the right way. I have to interrupt the opening, leave the car and use my hand to bring the window in the right position, because without doing so I have the fear that the window could break. After bringing the window in position manually I can open the soft top without any problems. Do you have any solutions for this problem? When I always have to fix the window manually, and step out of the car, then why does my car have an automatic soft top. Thank you for your help.
  15. Thank you very much!! I noticed that there ist a separate TSB for the outside self dimming mirror. Is it so difficult to install that one, that I will need the TSB. Or do I just need to connect an extra wire.
  16. I want to install the inside mirror. I thought that there is a porsche tequipment retrofit kit available for the headlight washers. And that there should be an information how to install it, but maybe i was wrong. Thank you for your help
