  1. Hi Guy's, Newbie here please bear with !! Just bought my first 944 UK spec 2.5 1987myr 8 Valve with 113.000 M/s. in red. Begun the nessesary maintenece and servicing (Replaced handbrake shoes and both cables (long one the ferrule was seized solid into the body had drill it carefully !!! all done works a treat now. Am looking at doing the Timing Belts and water pump and would appreciate any thoughts on what to replace as a belt and braces job..no pun intended.. (i.e do i fit a turbo water pump ? do you do any furher work seals etc and the tensioning side ...tool etc etc etc . I have access to full garage facilties... but not the tensioning tool !!! any tips thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks zola1
  2. Hi Guys, Just joined Renntech, excellent site !!! just got my first Porsche 944 UK European spec 2.5 Lux...lots of smiles. Can anyone help with the location of the Central Locking Control Unit ? ..I've stripped the doors (no factory pwr locks fitted)...so just the loom in the doors...trying to find the ECU end to use the existing wiring !! Any help would be much appreciated Thanks zola1
