    Has anyone attempted to make their own cold air intake, such as the Fabspeed or Schnell? I am curious, I found a website that sells 4 ply silicone hose fairly inexpensive. Not sure if it would work. Does anybody know the dimensions for the hose?

    I just found this website https://www.rockauto.com/applet3.html. They seem to have some competitively priced parts for Porsches and other cars. Hope it is helpful to others.

    Loren, Thanks! I used some Throttle body cleaner (is that essentially the same as carb cleaner?). by the way, how do I know if I have a egas or non-egas Pcar? I have a 2000 C2 Tip.

    Loren, yes at idle. While the car was off, I took off the throttle body boot to check and see how clean the throttle body is and I could swear that the butterfly stays slightly open. For example if you push the butterfly from the bottom inward it will move forward a bit? Is that normal? If not what needs to be done to adjust/correct. Plus, what symptoms could result if the butterfly is slightly open during idle? Thanks!

    Hey can anybody tell me if the Butterfly in the Throttle body is suppose to me completely closed flush with throttle body in a closed position or is there slight gap?

    Can anybody tell me what type of items fall under a record as far as Carfax is concerned? For example, when you just go to www.carfax.com and enter a VIN it will say, "### records found." Thanks!

    I was told it is the same thing www.battertender.com. Not sure what you mean by current running through it?

    I just bought the Battery Tender Plus 12volt 1.25amp. Do I just attach the pos and neg to the terminals and plug into wall outlet and there I go? Thanks!

    Hey everyone, I stored my P-car and was wondering do you think one of those small plug in cig lighter air compressor will have enough power to put some air in the tires? I found one with 300psi? Thanks! By the way, does anybody recommend putting Fuel Stabilizer (4-5mths storage)?
