  1. Any suggestions on how to buy parts a bit cheaper than at the dealer? Maybe somewhere online? For example I need to buy a MAF sensor as part of an attempt to resolve a CEL and haven't found anyone other than my Atlanta dealer that can get it. Thanks! -Tom
  2. Hello all- My 99 C2 has had the check engine light on for a while so I took it to a local dealer and had them read the diag codes and give me likely reasons for them. To save a bit I plan on doing whatever parts of the repair I can myself (starting with replacing the MAF sensor). Without the Porsche computer will I be able to "reset" the code to see if the problem is solved? I may not be using the right terminology. Thanks in advance! -Tom
  3. Thanks skymast. That's exactly what I did. I won one for $99.00. It will need to be painted though. Does that seem like a good deal?
  4. My 996 was recently hit in the rear in a parking lot and need to replace my bumper. Is this replacement feasible as a DIY job? Also, if possible perhaps someone could give a few details or tips about doing it. Thanks! -Tom
