  1. did you ever figure this out? if so please let me know...
  2. Porsche boxer engines should not be modified without serious care. By adding nitro you are increasing engine pressure and temperature. Would I do it? No? Should I want more power/torque I would look at PAG's X51 or a RUF or Gemballa mod. At least those have some serious testing behind them. thank you.... i personally dont really know a thing about porsche's but i can tell you everything you need to know about a corvette or camaro..... the owner basically just came to me and said he wanted a nitrous kit.... so i sold him one..... he should have done some research before wanting one.... but were gonna start with a 50 shot i think that should be fine in my opnion.....i told him to not go over 100..... oh and i got the rear speaker off..... Not to be an A$$ but I personally would not let anyone that does not know a thing about Porsche's work on an engine that can cost up to $20K to replace. The owner of that C4S got balls...lol. I like Camaros and Mustangs and they have much larger displacement. I def would tell the owner to start small and work his way up. Perhaps throw it on a Dyno attached to a diag comp and test away. it honestly doesnt matter if its a porsche or a tractor.... every engine is an air pump..... any engine can take nitrous..... as long as it has enough fuel.... were gonna start out with a 50 shot which will be perfectly fine on the size of the engine in his car.... and i told him at the very most go to 100....
  3. im deff not gonna agrue with you guys.... i am a GM fan my self.... but thats prob b/c im only 24.... dont get me wrong i LOVE porsches im sure ill own one when i can 100% appreciate one.... but as of right now im still in the faze that i love beating the **** out of cars haha..... and to me i just couldnt bring my self to do that to a porsche.....
  4. kits vary depending on brand and acc. We are using an NX Wet kit with the Gen X-2 Package which comes with the bottle heater, purge, blow down tube, fuel pressure safety switch ect..... we also have a controller from Nitro dave that has a gear lock out, window switch and the TPS switch he will need all built in one..... this set up will run you alittle over 1k...... and i would pretty much recommend this set up... its the safesty way to do it...
  5. yes this is goin to be a single fogger set up right into the intake..... ill post pix once im done.... its alittle more complicated than just a single wire.... b/c these cars are drive by wire(meaning there is no throttle cable) so i need to wire in a TPS switch to read voltage to know when to spray.....ill keep you guys updated....

  7. The speaker removal and install will be the least of the worries... how long will the engine last after a few applications? why do you say that? anything can handle some nitrous as long as you have the fuel ect.... were not planning on doing a big shot....is there a specific reason your saying this or just b/c your one of those people who thinks nitrous blows up everything? not being a smart *** just simply asking.....
  8. has anyone done this before that can give me some info?......ive installed plenty of nitrous kits on cars before but i usually work on camaro's and corvettes...... this is for a customer of mine and im having trouble removing the rear bose speaker enclosure.... will this give me access to the engine? any advice will be very helpful....
