  1. hey guys, I'm not sure what they're called but it's the plastic piece where the trunk and hood release is. Does anyone know how to remove this piece? I have a manual truck and hood release. Can anyone please help???
  2. OK, I got my sports seat the other day and now I'm trying to install them but I ran into a problem. For some reason, the rails on the sports seats aren't lined up with each either, (left and right). Since that's the case, I'm not able to bolt down both rails. Does this happen with everyone? What do I do? I took a quick glance and it doesn't seem like I could change the rails. Can anybody help? I have a 99 C2 if that makes a difference.
  3. I just bought a set of sport seats for my 996 and I was thinking about painting them or having them wrapped with carbon. Does anyone know how to remove the backs? I tried doing a seach under, "seat back" and "sport seats" but i couldn't find anything. Is there a way to pull them off?
  4. Thanks for the replies, but im not looking for 997 wings, I'm just wondering if a stock 997 wing will fit on a 996.
  5. hey guys, I'm wondering if I can take a 997 GT3 decklid w/ wing and put it on my 996 C2? I'm not worried about the fans or air filter holes, I'm just wondering if the decklid will fit. Anyone???
  6. Does anyone know if a 997 shift knob (knob alone, not boot) will fit on a 996? If yes, do I have to do any mods? Can anybody help me out?
  7. I think I've found it. Is it the same as removing the insterment cluster? http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...entry2434
  8. I don't if this is has been posted before, but can anyone tell me how to remove the insterment cluster surround on a 1999 996?
