  1. Hello all, I need help deciding on which wheels to put on my '99 Carrera with the factory aero kit. It is white so I know I am going to have them painted black. I bought a set of Carrera III's that are sititng in my basement. I am having problems deciding if i should stick with these or exchange them for the 19" Carrera classics. I serached but I haven't seen any 996's on here with Carrera III's. I bought the 18" wheels because my Continentals are nearly new so I didn't want to have to buy new tires. I realize you'll probably tell me it is personal choice but do any of you have Carrera III's on your 996 I could see a pic of or do you have any pics of a 996 with them? Thanks, 2Brak
  2. I did a search before I posted a new Topic. I previously found out to get a 964 to sound like I wanted, but now that I have a 996, I'd like to know if there are any exhausts out there that will give a stock 996 more a F1, Bike, Ferrari, Carrera GT howl type sound. I have heard Tubi's, AP, PSE, Fabspeed etc. and they are more grumbly and don't sound smooth. I am looking for more of that smooth trumpet howl sound. Perhaps if I am after that type of sound, I should leave the stock sewing machine sound alone?
  3. Hello all, As always, I did a search before I posted a new topic. I have with the PCM/CD Changer/Nav. Have any of you thought about or replaced the stock CD Changer with a MP3 CD changer? I realize iPod is the best way to go, but since I already have a CD Changer I thought why not just burn the MP3's onto a disk and then put 6 disks in and be set. Surely there is a CD Changer that plays MP3's that works with the PCM head unit? Thank you, 2Brak
  4. I realize it stinks that you need to replace the whole cluster but they are only about $225.
