  1. I took my '03 (still under warranty thru March) in with the same problem on the driver's side. They replaced the "window motor" with 996-624-101-03 yesterday. The window dropped correctly when opening and closing the door. Today I went to put the top down. The driver's side window didn't go down when I unlocked the top. When I took it back today, they checked it out and are ordering another motor. Is there a different window motor for coupes and soft tops?
  2. Is the "automatic" control the same as the "standard" control on the 986 - you pick a temperature and it maintains it?
  3. The CDR-23 in my 2003 Boxster-S won't tune 87.7 either. Technically it's not part of the FM radio band, but the TV audio of channel 6. They must have someone really anal in the radio division - no 3rd party attachments, limited frequency range.
  4. "641 Electronic Logbook Enables automatic acqusition of mileage, driving distance, date, time and address of starting point and destination at every trip including PC- software for data download and evaluation." Does anyone have any details on this new option?
  5. I'm looking for the part numbers for the left and right black plastic "stoneguards" that are located at the front of the rear wheelwells for a 2003 Boxster S. My local dealer thought the part numbers were 986-504-635-00 and 986-504-636-00 but all they received were 2 pieces of tape. click her for photo of part
  6. thanks, that's what I needed to know... rod :)
  7. Hi, I'm getting conflicting information. Should the paint formulation for a hood respray on a 2003 Guards Red Boxster be for a single coat or base/coat clear coat?
  8. Do the blades in the set look like the original equipment blades or like the ones I didn't like (they were ok till it rained)? The part number you gave me is the one the dealer claims they installed.
  9. At my 1 year checkup the dealer (unnecessarily) replaced the wiper blades on my 2003 Boxster S and put one that looks like this on the driver's side. By the time I realized what they had done, they had thrown away my original blade. After I complained they gave me one 2 years older than my original one off a used car. What is the part number for the wiper blade that looks like this?
