thanks. I saw that post earlier, but was hoping to find an illustrated guide. Anyway, I figured it out... it was much easier than I thought. are the bumperttes supposed to sit perfectly flush with the bumper cover?

I would take it to the dealer. If they find that the DVs are bad, you should buy some aftermarket billet ones. I got mine from evoms (www.evoms.com). The stock DVs are weak and are known to fail.

did you upgrade your DVs? Could be that one of them is bad. Or perhaps a boost leak somewhere else.

Intercooler hoses popped off under boost

I had the same thing happen. My passenger side IC boost hose blew off and left me stranded. Right before it happened though, I was reading 1.1 bar. I just had the evoms silicon hoses installed and have noticed even more boost then before. It seems like my stock hoses were leaking somewhere. My turbo is an 03 model. -
Is there an illustrated guide on how to remove the rear bumper cover from a 03 996tt? Thanks in advance.
