  1. Heads-up for cab owners with rear seat speakers... the rear cab drains and the catch trays are right behind the speakers (on my '99 at least). Simply remove the two torx screws, pull the speaker assembly and there it is. You can easily hit both the entry and exit drains from there as depicted in the service drawings above.
  2. I just stick the nozzle on my air hose in there and give it a couple blasts. Good luck!
  3. Sorry, can't answer your question as to whether you should change it. However, here's a diagram of how the roller attaches. To remove, you turn it counter-clockwise while countering on the bolt it is mounted on. Good luck!
  4. I need to tackle this project soon. I recently bought a can of Pentosin CHF 11S to top up the power steering reservoir. On the can it is listed as a "light hydraulic oil". Any thoughts on the suitability of this fluid for use in the cabrio pump?
  5. I agree with Loren -- especially since both rear wheels and just the rears had the problem. Good thing your commute isn't any longer than it is! :drive:

  7. Hi Folks, First, thanks to the RennTech crew and community for a great website and forum. It has been a tremendous resource in pre-purchase research. My question... New to me 99 C2 Cab, US 6-speed. Previous owner had new brake pads installed about 300 miles ago, but left the old rotors in. Rotors are at or below min thickness and heavily scored. I will be replacing the rotors this week. Should the newish pads be replaced as well? I assume they have taken on the profile of the rotors' scoring and wonder if this will invite uneven wear on the new rotors? Thanks!
