  1. Can one of you gents be kind enough to post the parts numbers for the X51 box, seals, etc. How bad is the fit of the stock oil filler pipe if left alone? Thanks Much, George
  2. I have on order a pair of illuminated door sills for my c2s from sunset porsche i have reviewed everything I could find on the sill install but most posts refer to the tsb which entails removing the door trim to get power and it also refers to many workshop pages that I do not have access to, it also instructs you to remove the entire door weatherstrip!! Has anyone done this the easy way by tapping into the footwell light? And would you share some tips on doing this job? I can see how the inner door jamb covers are removed the part where the hole needs to be drilled to route the wire and have read that the sills should be heated and pried up. What puzzles me is how to run the wire for the light under the door weatherstrip and how to route the wires from the drilled hole to the connection point - can the wire be fed under the carpeting on the passenger side? Any help would be greatly appreciated George K
  3. Try adding a can of Refrigerant 134A from an auto parts store until you can do the proper fix, they sell a short hose just to be used with these cans that connects to the low pressure side of the AC system lines. the fittings are different sizes so you cannot mistakenly connect to the high pressure side. the system holds about 2 lbs of freon so 1 can will probably get you some cooling again. - be sure to have the engine running and the ac on max as you add the can. there is a stop leak for AC systems as well - got mine at AutoZone, i have used it in the past and it works sometimes, My moms 94 benz had a leaky evaporator, the dealer wanted $3100 to fix it put a can of this stuff in 6 months ago and its still blowing cold - she was giving the car to my nephew for a starter car otherwise I probably would have done a proper fix with an independent shop. George
  4. My 2006 C2S Tip is made by MB, saw the label on it while doing an oil change
