  1. Wross, thanks, tried searching and yielded no result, would anyone happen to have a part number for these felt pads?
  2. As the titles says, I get streaking and smudging on the inside of both passenger and drivers side windows, Is there a fix for this? TIA
  3. Loren, No problems, I won't waste your time. I may look at it in the future, however in saying that, what I will do is replace the entire dash to have a Glove comprtment, that can't be as hard? R. Hamilton, we get screwed here by Taxes etc that make our cars one of the most expensive in the world, the money I pad for my original car could have bought me a CGT if I lived in the U.S.
  4. Maybe for you guys, not here, I paid $380,000 for my 04 TT when I bought it, a good used 01/02 TT here still runs up to $200,000, I am loctaed in AUS. Loren thanks for the reply, would you have an indication on what parts would be required to do this? Thanks again for any replies.
  5. Hey guys, I am buying a 2001 TT, I had a 2004 TT but totaled it about 1.5 years ago. Has anyone installed a PCM 2 Nav into an 01 model, could this be done if I were to purchase the Fiber Optic cabling, I know a lot of you would think I am crazy by doing this but I want to build a car exactly like my last one that I dearly miss and didnt get to enjoy for too long. Any advice would be great, thanks.
  6. Richie, If you want it just for looks go for H & R springs, I have done it on my car and it does not compromise ride quality. Good luck.
  7. Thanks to both Loren & MSINDI, I'm going back to the tuner tomorrow, he's going to upload the original program, from there I will get the faults cleared and retry the Upgrade again, the only thing I can think of is that when the dyno was carried out the tailshaft to the front wheels was taken off, wouldn't this send the Computer haywire with lots of spin at rear with no motion detected at the front? Could that be the cause of the faults? Many thanks again...
  8. msindi Its called unichip, we dont have the likes of GIAC and upsolute here in Australia, I can get the FVD unit but I can't justify the price, much more expensive here in Australia. I sent an email to GIAC head office with no reply yet, I wouldn't mind getting that unit as I have heard nothing but praise so far. By the way I have seen your car on 6 speedonline and it's hot, very nice car...all the best.
  9. Hi Loren, I have seen your comments etc and I must say that I have never come across anyone as educated as you are on Porsche's. My problem is that I got my car chipped up and since that I have noth PSM and ABS lights on, I was told by the tuner to take my car to Porsche to have these cleared. I did that and they turned off, as soon as the car was turned on again the lights came back on and could not be cleared permanantly. The codes are DME Faulty Memory P0102 Hot film MAF sensor. & PSM Fault Memory 5525 Torque transfer from DME disturbed at times. The guys at Posche couldn't help or they didn't know what to do. Have you experinced this in the past and if so what would you suggest to rectify the faults. I thank you for your efforts in advance. George
