  1. From what you describe - yes, it could be the switch. Sometimes if you wiggle the switch some the light will come on and off - if so, then it is the switch. Turned out to be the headlight switch - thanks guys
  2. Seems strange that both numberplate bulbs would go at the same time though? Seems more likely it has something to do with the fused circuit.
  3. From what you describe - yes, it could be the switch. Sometimes if you wiggle the switch some the light will come on and off - if so, then it is the switch. I've tried wiggling the switch but nothing, I'm afraid. Just seems strange that the instrument illumination and the rear number plate (plus location light???) are on the same fuse circuit. Replacing the fuse hasn't helped.
  4. No instrument illumination except digital readouts (ie speedometer/clock/trip computer/radio/air conditioning). Checked the fuse layout and found it is Row A no 5 (15A fuse) - also on the same circuit (UK 2003 Boxster S) is rear numberplate (which is also not working) and also what is described as location light (anyone know what this is?). Anyway, replaced fuse but still nothing working. Also noticed lightbulb in ashtray is not working (as far as I can remember, I don't think its ever worked) Anyone got any suggestions? Could it be the actual headlight switch at fault (I have Litronics). Your help or advice would be appreciated
