  1. There is a company called Solisto, who make an Ipod interface which works with Becker / CDR units - ive put one into my 996 with a becker 4720 (almost the same as a CDR22) which works excellently - price was about £100 uk - delivered complete with leads. it replaces the Cd changer unit and supplies digital input and charge to the ipod - totally recommend web site was www.solisto.de Jon
  2. It could be the modulator unit for the built in ariel (normal radio type), see if the rf cable goes towards the head unit? Could also be somthing similar for the phone module? or even GPS ( but dont think so looking at the size of the cable) You dont know if its been fitted with a radar jamming device do you? if the cable runs around to the front of the car? most likely ariel tho try unplugging it, see what doesnt work JOn
  3. many thanks , tried the 1231 and that didnt work (downloaded a dubious gadget off the net that spits codes at you) so shall try the other one the serial number is taken from the original becker sticker on the side so im sure its correct thanks Jon

  5. HI ive been stung on ebay and bought a "new" 4720, which ok looks like new, however the gps antenna and the data cd are missing along with the security code. oh and the CDR22 in my car presently has lost its code too due to be sat in the garage while ive been working away for 2 months. ive only owned my car for nearly 3 months so im new here and to this, but was wondering from a search i did earlier, if i can find the correct serial number for my CDR220 and prove ownership, can somone tell me the code And - the new one I have says it needs a five digit code but its a becker not a becker(porsche) can you help? does anyone know where i can get hold of a gps antenna and the map cd for one of these ? im in the midlands uk many thanks JOn
