  1. This weekend I took the car to the mountains for some fun cruising. Hadn't gotten to the mountains when I went to go into R and it didn't go in. Went right into Neutral. Then tried D and wouldn't go. Moved back up to P and it was now in R. Went back into the parking space. Rowed through, gently, a few times from P-D then it finally worked right so I went on my way. When I got to my destination I parked, put on e-brake then did the P thru D just fine. Started the car a few times over the weekend to try it and worked fine every time. Then when I went to leave this morning, sure enough it missed again on me. Wasn't happening last week. Before I call on a dealership to troubleshoot, is there a % adjuster that I can try first or stops that need to be adjusted? Thanks, Scott in Silver Spring, MD
  2. I have found a 1985 slantnose locally for sale with 85k miles and only asking $29k. Not expecting it to be an original. How do I go about getting a PPI for a 85 vehicle in Baltimore area? How do I verify the slantnose version since the dealer has no 'known' paperwork on hand? Thanks, Scott
  3. Oil gauge drops to 0 for a few seconds, 'Failuer indicator' light comes on. The pressure jumps back up to normal operation. When I run through the onboard for issues, it doesn't tell me anything. Was going to my local shop for an oil change and spring install this week. Should I just go into the dealership? Thanks, Scott
  4. How about the cluster bezel replacement? I have a CF surround to install and have been looking for months on a how to and nothing out there.
  5. A loose ground wire is usually the culprit. Check all connections. If not, then disconnect you battery for 10 minutes and resync your phone offsite. If not, then you have a compatability issue.
  6. That't all it took. Problem solved. This should be part of the factory tool kit.
  7. Ah. Figures. Thanks. I'm on it. And, uh thanks for the diagram too. I have added this to my files. Where can I get a comprehensive list of these? Nothing in the couple of booklets I have.
  8. I've searched three forums for a detail on the fitament of the factory wing, but to no avale. Riding down the road today I heard something loose right behind me. Got out, and the wing was bouncing off the hydrolic post. Viewed the post and twist detail and reconnected, but it does not fit as tight as the right side and can pop right off with a bump in the street. Any diagram, direction, etc. for this part would be most appreciated. Every thread that came up on a search was a replacement wing of some sort. And if there are diagram/how-to's out there I want to do my own oil and coolant. Just want to see it done once first. Do all the maintenance work on my 03 cobra myself. Thanks, Scott
