  1. I am doing a clutch job on my 04' 994tt tomorrow. My stock clutch is slipping since I upgraded the HP. My question is this, I've got 9K on the car. Should I change-out the clutch slave cyclinder and acumulator since I'll have the transmission out?? I'll be installing ths Sachs LWFW. Thanks Tom
  2. I think Fatboy is on to something. Since I have been following his advice with a engine "cool-down", I have had no smoky starts. Now I do a one minute idle before pulling into the Batcave. Thanks for the suggestion, for me it seems to work.
  3. Recently my 04' 996TT has occational smoking a on startup, usaully after it hasn't be driven for a couple days. Oil consumption is about a quart every 1200 miles, which doesn't seem out of spec. to me. She's running very solid, and has 9200 miles on her. Any reason to be alarmed??
  4. Great thread, I just had the same question for my dealer yeaterday. I recently purchased a 996TT with 5k miles. I had Rusnak Porsche out here go through the car. I ask them to check the instrument cluster. They said everything was OK, and that the only source of milage data was stored in the instrument cluster, but I find that hard to believe. What is the PST2 or the PIWIS, I would like to confirm the milage on cluster with the cars main computer, is that possible? Thanks
