  1. phillipj, I feel the same way with you. I guess that the carbon fiber plate between the engine and the filter plays the roll of "isolation". I am not sure yet whether it will work in a condition of slow moving, stopping in traffic or not. (in adequate speed of moving, it will probably work due to its nice air induction) Ian Choi Choi's auto diary
  2. Hi guys, I have been searching for an air intake system for my '04 GT3. I tried K&N 63-7001, but there's not much luck with it for slight difference in chassis between 996 & 997. I almost ordered Fabspeed's GT3 Performance Air Intake System with BMC Filter , however I found something new today. It is named "996 GT3 Maxflo Competition Intake" and its image and dyno result are coming soon. I guess it is very similar to 2009 997/997 S High Performance Air Intake with Carbon Fiber Heatshield, which is VERY attractive. I can not wait for the detailed information. Is there anyone already installed? or any opinion? Ian Choi Choi's auto diary
