  1. I've got the rear air option - it works fantastic. I think without it there just isn't enough air to go around. Try closing off some of the front vents - more air will go in the rear. (I'm not sure why every Cayenne doesn't come with the rear air option - I'll never buy another one without it. ...In AZ we need all the A/C we can get!)
  2. This is a really poor design. The coating they use on the buttons is simply too soft. It peels right off. Isn't there some kind of interior touch-up paint you can get? A new airbag assembly costs several hundred dollars! I LOVE the interior of the Cayenne - the two-tone and wood combination is about the nicest around. But now all I can see are the $%#@ scratches on my buttons. Surely there is a better fix?! (I don't mind spending the bucks on a new airbag, but I'm 100% confident it will get damaged within weeks and I'll be back where I started!) Any suggestions? Cody
  3. Mudman seems to be the guru on this, based on his numerous posts. I bought the Dension Ice/Link Gateway 500 per his and others' recommendations. Haven't had it installed yet, but it looks good on paper. (get it at www.bumperplugs.com) Works for PCM and non-PCM units, also has Bluetooth capabilities with $100 upgrade. http://www.dension.com/icelinkgateway500.php I'm hoping my Dension isn't already obsolete before I even get it installed. I too am curious about what's coming! Cody
  4. Thanks very much from me too - worked perfectly (who would have known it was that easy)! ...and the new gloss light olive knob looks really great! BTW, the car doesn't necessarily have to be running - just turn the key enough so you can switch to "D". Cody
  5. You must have PCM before you can have navigation. I understand that the 2003-2004 units have the nav module built in, but the 2005+ units require a separate module that contains the DVD and goes under the seat.
