  1. I had an '03 C4S and had numerous issues all of which surprisingly werent covered by the warranty - I was really surprised given the emphasis at purchase that it was all encompassing. Sadly had to sell the car as our duaghter arrived but will never spend the money on a CPO again. The dealers only interest is to take money out of you rather than provide a service. tried to charge me $1500 for new rotors and pads (because they were warped) actually just corrosion build up as the car had been in their yard waiting for the broken amp ($1000 not covered by warranty) to be relplaced - 10 miles later everything was perfect - anyone less knowlegeable about cars would have spent the money. Also refused to give me a trade in value when needed something bigger (12 months later) Porsche Nanuet is the culprit
  2. Hi all, Sounds like my wheel bearings have gone on my '03 C4S - how much/how long does it take to replace at a pcar dealer? - should they be covered under a CPO - or will they call a "wear and tear" out - car has 49k miles. Would a rumble sound be caused by anything else? - I've just replaces the front tires and the noise didnt increase or decrease.... Cheers Anthony
  3. Hi all, My mind might be playing tricks with me but it seems the raod noise from the front of my car is getting louder - it increases with the speed of the car - nothing really below 15mph - but there after increases with speed and is worse on better surfaces, sounds almost a rhythmic hum - question is whether this is... increased road noise as my fronts are close to replacement (Pirelli pzeros; or Something more sinister. There isnt any knocking on turning that I can hear any suggestions would be appreciated Anthony 2003 C4S 48k miles
  4. Great I'll take a look at the wbsite and get back to you - I have a sneaky suspicion Iam away skiing that week - but would be great to get involved
  5. Anyone know if there is a place around where I can take my car for a ride around a track to see what it will really do What would I need - any special licences - insurance? - equipment Never done one before (apart from the Jonathon Palmer motorsport in the UK twice which is awesome if anyone gets a chance) - so a bit of a novice on whats required Cheers Anthony
  6. Hi - all - anyone know the rules in the US - can you have a seat in the back for a new born or does it need to be in the front? - anyone want to sell a seat for a new born - dont have kids yet - but its certainly on the agenda!! Cheers Anthony C4S 03 NYC
