  2. VIN Plate issue 1970 car Hi, sorry for such a short introduction and not really been on here for a while and only ever really only lurked in these parts as I have always had 996 /997’s (still have) but I have been looking at buying something a lot older Now I have found a car (matching Numbers) that needs some work on it done but there is an issue with the vin plate its marketed as a 911T but the plate says it’s an 911E but the serial number resolves to Specs on this 911 are as such: Built in 1970 911T Karmann-body coupe Thanks for checking the VINtage. So what gives…has the plate been remade? Should I be suspicious, love the car and don’t want to miss it if it all checks out Any help given would be much appreciated
