  1. I worked on my girlfriend's Boxster S seat height adjustment lever - the spring had come loose from the handle mechanism and was not activating the strut that allows for seat adjustment higher/lower. Thanks to everyone for their help earlier this month! Now, the issue is that the strut holds the desired seat height when adjusted, but you can PRESS the seat down all the way! As if the piston is always engaged. It seems to me that the issue is the piston is simply worn out and I saw that I can order this part to repair the seat. Any tips before I pull the seat out again? Thanks guys! Spen
  2. Hi, I damaged my girlfriend's Boxster center console area. A piece of trim got scraped... I need to disassemble it and was lucky enough to find a parts car. Does anyone have experience disassembling the center console area (the plastic that sits in the middle of the car where the seat warmers are, the change holder, and up to the navigation unit and down to the lockable console). It's a 2001 Boxster S. Repairing her seat has already cost me a few hundred bucks :) I'd like to minimize costs on the other repairs! :) Thanks in advance. Spencer
