  1. Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me, I am stuck. My 06 Cayenne V6 came with factory tow option. The problem is that I cannot find the proper wiring harness to fit the plate on the back of the vehicle, all wiring harnesses I found at parts stores dont fit the plate so cant be mounted. The 7 pin round coming off the vehicle plugs into the harness no problem just that screw holes to mount receptacle don't align. I called 3 dealers over the weekend and none of them have this part or have ever heard of anyone needing one. Should vehicle had the proper harness for the U.S. installed at factory? any help with this would be greatly appreciated so I can use this tow option. Thanks.
  2. Hi, wonder if anyone can help me. I have an 06 cayenne with a factory tow package. There is a plastic shield covering the access to the wiring, however the round receptacle wont take a standard round wiring setup. I am assuming there is an adapter that should mount here? Usually there is a universal receptacle that has a flip up/down cover to protect it from the elements on most cars. Where do I find this adapter? Is it in the car somewhere already and I didn't see it. Please let me know so I can get this set up properly and thanks in advance for your help..
  3. Just and FYI, LLBean is now selling custom fit winter front rear and cargo area rubber mats custom fit for Cayennes. It seems to be a good buy since a rear floor mat is only $59 and covers the entire rear floor including center hump. Comes in standard gray, tan, black. Just an FYI........saw it on LLBean.com
  4. Thanks for all of your input. I have been able to find some Cayenne factory 17" wheels. My next question is -Will a set of Blizzak 235/65 17s fit these factory 17'? I am assuming they will however the calipers on the 18's look big and wondering what if any problems will I run into? I have a set of nearly new blizzaks leftover from my wife's X5 before we traded for the new V6 cayenne. I think the V6 cayenne will ve a nice suv for my wife this winter, we get a lot of snow here in upstate NY and looking forward to the added safety/security of the low range. Thanks in advance for your help.
  5. Had the Parrot ck3100 installed last night, works great, clean setup and cost including installation was $250-yes it automatically downloads your contact list upon connection-great feature.
  6. Hi, I would like to know if anyone has any thoughts on this. Just bought a new Cayenne v6 and it came with 18' wheel upgrade. I have a brand new set of 17' Blizzaks I bought for my wife's X5 last year with only around 1000 miles on them. I am assuming I may get better snow performance with a 17' rather than an 18'. The best bet may be to find a set of Cayenne 17 wheels and use them every winter. I would like to know if anyone has anyone experience with this. Keep in mind we get a LOT of snow.
  7. Hi, new to the forum but what a great place to get and share info. I just bought my wife a new/leftover cayenne v6 and she loves it. She was hesitant on swapping her x5 but so far she is thrilled. Unfortunately there is no real good bluetooth solution yet from Porsche. It would be nice to have ipod and especially bluetooth for those needing hands-free in a car. Going to a local stereo shop to have Parrot ck3100 installed. Anyone have any history on this install? Is it safe? I would hate to have something get messed up with the navigation unit. I would appreciate anyone's two cents. Thanks!
