  1. 1) warm up the engine. 2) beat the hell outta it thats what it was built for this is no toyota 3) smile \Would like opinions on the following topics. START - After starting your Boxster should you just drive away, or let it warm up for a minute or two? STOP - After a drive should you let your Boxster idle for a minute or two, or should you just shut the engine off? DRIVE - My car seems the happiest between 4-5K RPM's when switching gears. (I have a 6 speed) I seem to get the most fun out it too. Should these cars be driven hard at least 50% of the time, or do we need to baby our toy?
  2. I'm only familiar with the location of the convertible top relay on the 986. If it's in the same location on the 987, then you will find it in the relay tray in the driver's side kick panel (to the left of your calf when your left foot is on the clutch pedal). As RFM says, the 987 is no longer a double relay, but here is a photo of the 986 double relay in the relay tray: You can just see the top of the "dead pedal" at the bottom right corner, and the top of the fuse tray at the bottom left corner. The convertible top relay (again, this if for the 986) is the one with the black square on the white background. Regards, Maurice. Thanks for the info but it looks like the 987 has just a fuse so maybe its the switch. I'll see if I can get this covered under the warranty since its a 2007 with only 5032 miles on it. Thanks again, Gary
  3. I checked my e3 fuse and it seems to be good I dont see a broken connection thru the fuse window? Do you know where the relay for the top is located? Maybe its just the switch. Thanks
  4. When I release the top lever and hit the switch nothing happens. Any ideas?
  5. Has any 987 owner had the maxflo system installed?
