  1. I just got off the phone with PCNA. My 09 CS Cabriolet with gray ventilated seats has the stain problem. I started my discussion with my local Porsche dealer last November. All I wanted was a recommendation on how to get rid of the stains. He spoke to the Porsche area rep who agreed to replace the seat covers under warranty. The new seat covers arrived from Germany after a month's wait. Unfortunately they were black not gray. The dealer reordered them in January. Now Porsche calls to tell me that they are not covered under warranty. This is very frustrating. I was told by my service rep that the problem was in the dye that colors the leather leaking through the vent holes. This sounds like a manufacturing defect to me.
  2. I recently purchased a 2009 997S Cab new (never titled) from a dealer. It had 650 miles on the odometer. To sweeten the deal he cpo'd it for me. I didn't know this was possible on a new car, but it seems to have been accepted by PCNA. Question: Aside from the increase in the number of years coverage, and the number of extra miles under the cpo, are there any differences in the mechanical aspects of the coverage in the standard warranty versus the cpo warranty?
  3. On my 2004 Cayenne S, with parkassist and headlamp washers, I would like to mount an old German license plate on the front of the car. Is a bracket available and how complicated is the mounting. Also what would be the cost? Does it come in the correct color (Lapis Blue)? Would it interfere with the parkassist? Thanks in advance Rob
