  1. That's very true Wingless - it's not a massivly expensive part ($750) in comparison to what I was expecting (probably becaused it's used), so I think I'll buy it and have my local garage have a look. Worst comes to worst, I'm sure someone'll buy it off me on eBay! I don't blame the dealer at all - they've already put a silver rear badge and turbo tail pipes on for me and have been extremely accomodating with my requests. Sadly they just didn't know where to start with this one though. I know there is def. a part number for the cluster and I will find out what it is and post again as soon as I can. Pics will of course be taken and posted here when It arrives.
  2. I have a 2005 Cayenne v6 Tiptronic, and would really like to upgrade the instrument cluster to the Turbo version so I have the TFT screen and much better looking dials etc. My dealer won't sell me one (or can't, I'm not sure) but I have found one that was salvaged by a dismantler from a Turbo that came to a rather sorry end. Still in perfect working order apparently. My question really is - will it work?! I wouldn't try and install it myself, but I'd rather like to have some indication as to it's likely hood before I buy it and have it shipped to the UK. Any advice would be very gratefully received.
