  1. My 2006 Cayenne V6 idles just fine. I can't recall that it ever did idle rough. I haven't tried an MP3 CD in the Bose sound system. It probably won't work if the new firmware is just coming onto the market.
  2. The check engine light is too important to second guess. Better take it in immediately. If it turns out they just didn't reset the computer when you had the service interval done, well, express your displeasure at the inconvenience. Otherwise you might be driving around with some important safety related sensor completely out of commission.
