  1. Hello all, I'm new to this forum and I'm seeking advice for replacing factory 19" Carrera S wheels (19 X 8/11 w/235-35 & 295-30s) on my '05 997 Carrera S... I drive to and from track events and tire selection (R compound) to fit 19" wheels is limited to Pilot Sport Cups (which I hate), Pirelli Corsa system (new and on now) and Hoosiers(inappropriate for road use) all in 235-35s & 305-30s. Lightweight 18" wheels in 8 & 11 widths would open up selection of tires considerably. There has to be some properly offset sturdy track wheels out there that won't break the bank (I don't need $4,000 OEM, BBS, HRE, etc, etc.)! Can anyone help me? (Those who know me say I'm beyond help, but I'm new here...) Thanx, David.
