  1. Greetings! Just tracking down a couple of interior creaks, and I traced one to the passenger side dash air vent. I looked on this site and found that the piece is held in place by 3 screws--two on the side and one behind the cover for the temp sensor. I removed these three and the piece still seems attached. rather than break this really expensive (wood) piece, I thought I should ask the experts here. . . Along with the screws, is this piece also clipped in place? Suggesions welcome. Thanks!
  2. Greetings! cold up here in Minnesota, so suctions cups, well, don't suck . . I posted this at Renntech, and, apart from an unusual hot-melt glue fetish, got a very interesting reply. "Rob in WA" modified his visor mount (basically spread it wider) and hooked it into the headliner. See photos in the attached thread, if you don't mind. I think this is slick, but know zero about how headliners are attached, etc., so wonder if there are any problems you experts can think of.
