  1. I've been asked to fit a 996 Turbo Memory Seat into a 'standard' 996 - the memory function doesn't need to work (phew!), the guy just wants the extra seat functions. He bought the seats off Evilbay - so I wasn't able to see the car they came out of. Does anyone know which 'socket' to connect power to, and the polarity of the pins? The only wiring diagram I have lists 'M538 CU Memory Right' but I don't think it's the right diagram for this seat. Attached picture shows the control unit with the sockets numbered 1-10 left to right. Socket 6 is labelled 'SPANNUNGS-VERSORGUNG' which translates as 'Tension Supply' so I'm guessing this is the power connector. Part number of the CU is 993.618.537.03. I've posted this on Rennlist and been pointed here by Riad
